Question Type - Quantitative Reasoning

4 different type of questions:

  1. Percentages questions

  2. Proportionality questions

  3. Rates questions

  4. Averages questions

1. Percentages questions

Calculating the increase/decrease of percentage changes in cost prices or quantities.

Some questions may ask you to convert percentages into decimals or fractions.

​

2. Proportionality questions

Calculating the direct and indirect proportion, e.g: the proportional increase or decrease of a value

​

3. Rates questions

Calculating the rate or speed of flow.

​

4. Averages questions

Calculating the mean, mode or median for values that may be presented in the form of charts, tables or diagrams.

​

Common sources include: food menus, timetables, sales figures, surveys, conversion tables and more.

​

All questions have 5 options of which only one is correct.
